Daily Line Purge

If a solvent with salt or buffer content, or a solvent with a pH <5 or >13 is used on your system, it is recommended to purge the line at the end of each day using water and air. The line can then be re-primed during the next day with its designated solvent. The procedure is as follows.

Line Purging - End of Day Procedure
  1. Place the solvent line that needs to be purged in an empty bottle/container.

  2. Run the following method to purge the line with air, flush the line with water, and then purge the line with air again. This method can be saved on the system for future use.

  3. Leave the solvent line in the empty container until the beginning of the next shift.
