DC to Stepper Motor Upgrade Instructions
SA3000-5000: DC to Stepper motor Upgrade Set
Required:
Upgrade set (SA5000) 25121388 or (SA3000) 25121386, consisting of:
Pump 22300360 or 22300361, with cable and tubing
Pump speed control board 25121707
Cable 25121820
1x 4P connector (90017402)
3x 2P connector (90017488)
Tools: Hexagonal key no. 3 and 4, small screwdriver
Installation
Let the chemistry unit run with rinsing liquid and then let it run dry.
Switch off the power on the chemistry unit and disconnect all cables.
Release and remove the hexagonal screw at the bottom of the front panel (see arrow in Figure 1).

Pull the cover carefully at the bottom to the front and then take it away. Lay it down on the table in front of the chemistry unit (see Figure 2).
Release the plastic nuts from the plastic pins (see circles in Figure 3) and release the connectors (see arrows in Figure 3).
Then pull the controller out of the frame and lay frame and controller aside.
Now the pump speed controller board can be reached (see Figure 4).
Figure 3: Reactor
Situate the chemistry unit fully on the table.
Take the new pump and connect the earth wire to the pump frame.
Place the pump into the housing while leading the waste tubing through the hole to the module compartment and air tubing and motor wires to the front (take care not to squeeze any cable or tubing).
Lock the pump and replace the module plate.
Open the front cover again.
Push the air tubing through the hole in the black connector and push the air tubing on the membrane pump. Tighten the black connector. Refer to Figure 8.
Connect the pump motor wires to the 4P connector (90017402) and connect the connector to the J11 connection as displayed in Figure 13.
